Enchanted in gold and the stillness of the water. I really like how this image seems to go on forever, not being able to tell the bottom from the top. The boat grounds this perfectly.

@bluechameleon: I managed to get smooth water with long exposure time (30 sec. on this one). As for the colour cast, it comes from the lightning equipement use to light the dam. I think you're right, that old row boat gives a focus to the picture. Thanks for your note.
this must be just before the sun was setting, great composition

@lissa: It wasn't. It's the deepest night. In fact, lights used to illuminate the brige had a strong orange cast. Colours are pretty much the way I saw them. Thanks for stopping by!
The stillness of the reflections in the water, the light, the exposure, the composition, the golden colors, and the texture of the stone bridge ... beautiful!
Breathtaking color and lighting here . . what a beautiful photograph. At first, like Lissa, I thought this was sunlight but then saw the EXIF info ! Now, I'm even more impressed.

@Ronnie 2¢: Hello mate. Well, like I said to Lissa, this picture was taken at night. It was very dark, exept of course this dam is well lit (from both side, as you can tell from the shadow at the left-most door). It was just a matter of setting a tripod and there you have it. Thank you for stopping by. Also, yesterday's picture is down the same river only a couple ten feet.
